I am 24 years old and i currently live in dallas, texas! I dropped out of Texas A&M University to pursue wedding and portrait photography full time. I am super excited for this next stage in my life and business. I dropped out because i found something that im really passionate about and it was so hard to continue studying something that didn't give me the same excitement!
so annnnyways - my passion is photography. i dont have that toxic hustle mentality, if i dont want a job because i think it would take away from why i do photography then i will simply… say no! i love doing this dude and so that means i do a lot to protect it. i think that photography might be one of the most important jobs in the world, and keep in mind my brother is a rocket scientist and my dad used to put fires out while flying a plane.
i went through really hard things when i was 20, and it reshaped how i view everything. nothing is worth your mental health yanno, so while photography can be super stressful its matched with even more joy, humility, and once in a lifetime opportunities. I really want to shoot your wedding. i mean don’t you want a fun, professional, but laidback presence on your big day? (unless auntie didnt listen when you said dont wear white, in that case we boxing)
bringing out true, genuine emotion has been my goal behind the camera, even if that means having to be the silly hype man.
Another reason I love photography so much is because I truly believe that pictures bring back memories. I am terrible at remembering things and a picture always reminds me of the memory: who I was with, what I was doing, and how I felt! (And those fake laughing pictures of myself I look back on just don't work for me.) When i think of what i want from photos of myself - i want my story to be told - and yeah that can sound suuuuper cheesy but its true. i want to be reminded of the smell of freshly cut grass, or how happy i was in that moment. Booking a photography session shouldn't just be about getting the best pictures, but getting a memory along with them! After all, they aren't cheap :,)
